Had the best time, Allister the landlord was so accommodating nothing was a problem, Such great staff too, the locals were so friendly our 1 night stay turned into 3. We even got invited to the New Year’s party which was an awesome night, one to remember. The room was perfect lovely and big I even had a bath haha👌 The kitchen was closed as it was NY but Allister/Ovici insisted they still cooked us a lovely meal twice. We can’t thank you enough 🙏 will will definitely be returning when we’re on our travels again xxxx

Quiet peaceful little rooms, friendly staff, great food, nothing to complain about.

Delightful inn, set far enough away from the city that it is very quiet. Centre of Dundee is 16 mins drive away so not too far at all. Rooms are superb with nice comfy beds. Set not far off the A90, makes easy access to other places as well. Plenty of choices of drinks at the bar for you to enjoy. A recommendation for breakfast is the full Scottish one, comes with either porridge or cereal, then a grill (fry) up with Haggis on it. Absolutely delicious Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would I return here again? You better believe I would 😉

Bikers dream. Simple, accommodation full of character. All rooms face the courtyard, which i could park my bike. Well away from the congested tourist hot spots but close enough. The cairngorms is a 100 mile round trip, for which i completed a 220 mile rode trip all around the cairngorms. So this hotel as a rest stop was perfect. Highlight was the evening lunches, served in the connected pub/reception. Comprehensive menu full of British classics. Very satisfied.

Either got potential or been very smart in its past

The location is great and is in a very quiet village, the customer service is amazing and very welcoming. The only issue is quite old and I think it needs a good refurbishment, the carpets, toilets and furniture. The food was ok too.nBut was fine for one night. It was great for us because it's pet friendly.

Nice local pub. Food very nice and food value.

10/10 Alastair the owner is the nicest man. The accommodation is quant and rustic. Will definitely be coming back.

Older place but good food and staff.

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and the bed was huge and comfy. We had a delicious meal and the staff were very friendly.
