Emerald Hotel

Excellent location and value for money. The proximity to all of the most notable tourist attractions was fabulous. However, the best aspect of our stay was the staff. Melike gave absolutely the best recommendations for sightseeing, rug shopping, restaurants, and even helped us out super quickly when our transportation fell through at the last minute to return to the airport. Engin was such a welcoming presence when we arrived, and really wanted to be sure that we had everything that we needed for our brief stay in Istanbul. Highly recommend Emerald Mansion Hotel, and will definitely return if fortune smiles on me enough to bring me back to Istanbul ☺️

I think I got very lucky when I found Emerald Mansion Hotel online for my stay in Sultanahmet. In terms of location, it is ideally located in the heart of the historical neighborhood of Sultanahmet. Most of the iconic architectural marvels such as Hagia Sophia and The Blue Mosque are just a few minutes walk from the hotel, not to mention some of the best restaurant in Istanbul. The staff at the hotel was very cordial, welcoming and efficient. I loved my two-night stay at the hotel and I cannot recommend this establishment strongly enough. I plan to soon come back and stay here with my family. What struck me most about the hotel was the homely and intimate vibe. Yet within small space of a boutique hotel, they have created a feeling of luxury, elegance and opulence. Within a reasonable price, I felt like a royal visiting Istanbul. Cannot wait to come back to Emerald Mansion Hotel.

Stayed at the Emerald for 3 nights, it was my first time in Istanbul.Excellent location and an amazing room, I had the small single room as I was traveling alone. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Mustafa is an awesome person and he was very welcoming, he made sure I felt like I paid a million bucks. I loved Istanbul and will return as soon as I can. The hotel was instrumental in making my trip amazing. Thanks to all the great staff, you have a very special hotel and I assure you I will be returning soon.

Recently (last week of December 2025) visited Istanbul and stayed at Emerald Mansion by chance due to booking via Expedia. Small but very neat and clean hotel. Room service was great, daily changing and cleaning of wash room. Service staff was great from reception to room service. They even offered assistance where to buy, eat, hamam booking to daily tour with guide etc. 10 minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Museum of Harem and Royal Palace where lots of holy relics of Muhammad PBUH, Skull and bone of Yahya (John the Baptist), David's Sword, Turbin of Hussain, dress of Fatimah (daughter of Muhammad PBUH) etc were exhibited. Airport to hotel to airport was booked in advance via Emerald Mansion hotel due to very early return flight. Service was great. Whenever next time visit to Istanbul, prefer to stay at Emerald. Great service with feeling of safety warm welcome.

Staff was incredibly professional and thoughtful throughout our stay. Huseyin and the entire team were very responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable. They even arranged a private ride for us to the airport at 3:30 AM, and when we were staying at another hotel later in our trip, they kindly coordinated a private ride from there as well. Their communication on WhatsApp was quick and reassuring, which I really appreciated as it was my first time traveling to Istanbul. The hotel was super clean, and the staff were polite, respectful, and genuinely caring. They helped carry our bags, escorted us to our room, and always held the door open whenever they saw us coming in; small gestures that truly made a big difference. I stayed at three different hotels during my trip, including one 5-star property, but none matched the level of hospitality and comfort offered here. The location is perfect; close to major landmarks like the Blue Mosque and within walking distance of public transportation. If I ever come back to Istanbul, I’ll definitely be staying at Emerald Mansion Hotel again. Highly recommended!
