Hôtel Emerald

The room we chose was spacious and beautifully decorated. The entire room reflected the boutique hotel's theme. Breakfast was delicious, traditional, and a good size. The staff was always friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Another important point is that the reception is open 24 hours a day, and they allowed us to check in at 3:00 AM. The location is incredible because we could walk to all the tourist attractions, and there were restaurants of all kinds nearby. The tram is just one block away, which made it easy to get around to other parts of the city. We are very grateful to the team for making our stay unforgettable.

No words can truly describe Emerald Mansion Hotel — it’s more than just a place to sleep, it’s an experience. The location is perfect, close to everything, yet still feels special and intimate. The hotel itself is beautiful, with very comfortable beds and incredible bathrooms. It’s a boutique property where you’re treated as if you’re at home. Everything is spotless — easily one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed — and the price is very reasonable for the quality you receive. The staff is the hotel’s greatest asset. From Melike at the front desk, who welcomes you like a longtime friend, to Hacer and Ilknur greeting you warmly each morning, to Mustafa always ready to help or serve tea — their hospitality is exceptional. Breakfast is delicious, and having the option to enjoy it in your room is a wonderful touch. If you’re visiting Istanbul, stay at Emerald Mansion — you will love it.

The Emerald Mansion Hotel was perfect for our stay in Istanbul. Beautiful authentic boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Everyone was kind and helpful. They knew what we needed even before we asked. We definitely did not want to leave and will return! Book it, you will not be disappointed.

STAY AWAY from this hotel if you are a SOLO traveler and/or if you do not want to be treated like an ATM machine. So this hotel has a NO Visitor policy which is something I have never heard of. Apparently they want you to pay for a visitor you may have who stays in your room for like an hour. This sucks specially for solo travelers who may want to have visitors over for a short period of time (1-2 hours max). I have visited more than 30 countries and have never experienced such stupid and hostile rule. After reading some other reviews, it appears that the hotel is selective in allowing certain guests have visitors as they have allowed this to some others in the past (without charging extra) which is inconsistent at best. I was curious so I went around the neighborhood and asked a few other hotels all of which told me visitors are welcome and their management do not have such hostile and greedy policy; so you get where this hotel stands trying to extract from their guests as much as they can and charge them additional fees for a visitor who only wants to stay for less than an hour. I was so outraged and shocked that I asked to talk to the manager since this was an extremely disappointing and uncalled for experience. SO THIS IS THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS PART: during the discussion, the manager asked me “what do you want to do in your room with your friend?” EXCUSE ME? Who are you to ask such intrusive and inappropriate questions? Do not bother with this hotel. Stay elsewhere…

Friendly, helpful service. Comfortable room in a great location. We arrived late at night, so we were grateful to the hotel for arranging an airport pick-up. Recommended.

A small, cozy, and clean hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only issue, like other hotels, is parking. But the staff are helpful in every way.

It's located right in the heart of Sultanahmet's historical atmosphere, and the location is truly wonderful. The breakfast was a special experience for me. The croissant is still one of the flavors that stayed with me. I would also like to thank the friendly staff, the team for their emphasis on customer satisfaction, and Ms. Melike for her conversation during breakfast, which helped us start the day beautifully; and the hotel manager and the entire team for their approach that prioritizes guest satisfaction. Excellent location and value for money. The proximity to all of the most notable tourist attractions was fabulous. However, the best aspect of our stay was the staff. Melike gave absolutely the best recommendations for sightseeing, rug shopping, restaurants, and even helped us out super quickly when our transportation fell through at the last minute to return to the airport. Engin was such a welcoming presence when we arrived, and really wanted to be sure that we had everything that we needed for our brief stay in Istanbul. Highly recommend Emerald Mansion Hotel, and will definitely return if fortune smiles on me enough to bring me back to Istanbul ☺️

I have been staying at the hotel for a week and I am very pleased with the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the staff. The location is also very central, with public transport just a two-minute walk away.
