The Boiler Room Sauna

Went because the reviews were so positive compared to the Brighton sauna, which had some spite to them - I do wonder if there has been a bit of review bombing. I had a pleasant enough experience killing a few bours. The Hove Sauna was mainly full.of older regulars who were friendly enough, if sometimes had to leave a room as very personal chats dominated. What the reviews didn't reveal was the club was really run down and looked like it last had a makeover in the 1980s. Even the videos playing were so old they weren't wide-screen and must have been 20+ years old. I'm sure the regulars love it, but be aware in case that's not your cup of tea.

Had a great evening visit here during the week. Very good value entry. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, and surprisingly spacious inside. I would have preferred the sauna to be hotter and the steam room to use something like eucalyptus, but otherwise I was pretty impressed.

Storm, the receptionist, was very welcoming and friendly throughout my visit - a novelty nowadays, as other venues I have been to it's the exact opposite! It's a small but well maintained sauna, and I especially appreciated that the admission fee was reduced owing to the jacuzzi being repaired. Other venues could learn from this.

I went to the sauna last week to give it a try. Most of the facilities were not working and the place was in desperate need of cleaning and a refurb. Some of the guys were friendly but very clear they is a problem with drugs at the sauna very disappointing x

Lacking of food. No jacuzzi, steam room and the sauna stopped working. Don't have cooked food. Poor menu. Contactless payment. Don't do cash. Dreadful day should close the sauna until they fix everything. Won't be coming back anymore 😪.

I always go and I'm always welcomed. The attendants are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice to relax

Have not been for a longtime. Went yesterday 05/03. Was warmly welcomed by a nice young man. Found the faculties really clean . And was glad the tinny music that’s played was only played upstairs and quite soft. Came out reeling relaxed. Keep up the good work .

This place was closing at the drop of a towel and times posted on the website wrong. I would suggest calling before you leave. HOWEVER ... they have upped their game and now fully functioning. As a gay middle age man, we need places like this.....long may it thrive!!
