Dédalos Rio

I hadn't frequented cruising establishments in Rio for many years. They all seem to be on life support, except for the one in Copacabana that charged an exorbitant price for entry into a tiny cubicle – the elitism is masked by the justification that it needs to cover the costs of the services offered. The arrival of Dédalos is promising because it challenges this mentality without falling short in any way: affordable prices and many promotions, friendly staff, and a clientele without pretension. The highlight is the spacious location, with diverse areas and dynamics. There are still some closed-off rooms and it has the feel of a new establishment, but it's already 10 times better than its competitors; it has everything to be the biggest gay hotspot in the city.

I was eager to visit and I loved it. The space is large and beautiful, with a spacious bar that facilitates interaction and a variety of drinks and prices. The lighting is adequate, neither too dark nor too bright. Excellent acoustics. Diverse clientele (something for everyone). I went on a Saturday early evening and it wasn't too crowded, but there was already a good number of people. New people are always arriving. On busy days it must be crazy. Friendly and professional staff and good entry promotions. The location is on a street that is quite empty at night, but it's a great urban area. There should be more places scattered around distributing condoms and lubricants, since there's no shortage of space, it would encourage use and avoid that awkward feeling of having to go to the most remote places to look for them. There are still parts to be opened. I hope there will be shower facilities with towels available (even if paid) and there could be larger lockers for those traveling. It has everything to be the best spot of this type in Rio, if it isn't already. I hope to return soon.

Pontos positivos: Lugar muito grande e bonito. Variedades de bebidas muito boa. Poder sair e voltar é uma boa também. Pelo que vi a casa em si tem poucas atrações tinham so telão com copas do mundo de futebol.

Note: Rethink this security approach of showing ID and being searched almost on the sidewalk by security. Doing this right at the first entrance shows a total lack of respect for the privacy and integrity of those who come to frequent the area. Especially since many people don't want the city of Rio de Janeiro to know they're going into cruising, right?!

Well, it seems that the yag life in Rio de Janeiro has returned with a vengeance. I liked the space, even though it's not fully operational yet, but you can tell the project is interesting.

The place is very spacious and it's not even 100% open yet. The clientele is diverse and there's something for everyone. The drinks are enough to get you really drunk! It's crazy.

Dedalos Bar is simply amazing! Access is super easy, the place is new and has an excellent structure, everything is very well organized and comfortable. The service was impeccable from beginning to end, with an attentive and very welcoming team. Congratulations Nando❤️🏳️‍🌈 A perfect place for those who want to enjoy good music, a pleasant atmosphere and still feel very welcome. Welcome to Rio de Janeiro in the best possible way!
