Hotel Nicolás

Hotel Nicolás is on General Mackenna, about 400 m north-east of the main square and near the central market. Google describes modest rooms, free breakfast, a casual restaurant and a bar, and it rates 4.1 from about 1,000 reviews. Pick it for location and price rather than polish. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue. Chile has allowed same-sex marriage since March 2022 and bans discrimination by sexual orientation, so couples can book a double room as usual.
