HamMan Sauna & SPA

A terrible experience. I arrived at 11:05 pm on a Sunday, knowing they closed at midnight, so I thought I'd have almost an hour to enjoy myself. At the entrance, the woman told me the lights would turn on at 12:30 am and that we still had about 25 minutes, which was already confusing. The worst part was that, after paying, just as we were starting to enjoy ourselves around 11:40 pm, they turned on all the lights and rushed us out. They clearly didn't honor what they told us upon arrival. As we were leaving, the same woman simply said that "I had misunderstood," which is unacceptable. If they're going to close early or rush people, they should be honest from the start and not charge as if we'd have plenty of time. I absolutely do not recommend it. Very poor organization and a lack of transparency with customers.

I had the opportunity to discover this place thanks to a friend, and it has since become my favorite spot. From the friendly receptionist who provided ample storage for your belongings, to the attractive bartender who always livens things up with his charisma and attentiveness, the place itself is worth every penny when you arrive. (Things to improve: having a separate DJ to liven things up, and themed shows for the bar area.) Excellent place to visit for the first time in Panama if you want a private and unique atmosphere.

I arrived right at 5 pm. It filled up quickly and it got lively in the steam room. It's a nude sauna. You only get a washcloth... the Larinos don't have to hide...

I was in Panama for 10 days and visited this place almost every day. I don't consider myself a sauna expert, but I have visited more than 8 different ones, so here's my review of HamMan Sauna :) Staff Service: Excellent. The three people I met were lovely. The receptionist was very respectful and friendly, the bartender always served me with a smile, and the maintenance guy (Antonio) was always making sure everything was working at the correct temperature. Everyone was very kind, and I encourage them to keep up that excellent service. Value for Money: They have dynamic pricing between $15 and $18 USD, which I consider a fair price. They offer "open bar" events and "Adam Nights," where the dress code is minimal. Closing time is after midnight, which encourages you to stay and socialize for a while. The drink prices are also OK, and as I mentioned, they offer open bar hours. Facilities: Here I see both excellent things and some areas for improvement. The excellent: The hygiene of the place is very good; they constantly freshen the steam room with herbs, which gives it a very fresh aroma. The pool and the hydromassage jacuzzi are both excellent, as are the dry heat and steam rooms. The pool table is very good; perhaps it would be nice if they added some extra board games to spice things up. The social aspect among gentlemen, for example, a Jenga game with challenges or some daring card games, would help increase the fun. What could be improved: The dark rooms are truly dark; you can't even see your hands. I understand that some people enjoy the adrenaline rush of not being able to see anything, but personally, I do like to see what I'm eating 😂. Talking with other patrons, several of us agreed that at least one of the rooms could be modified with dim lighting (similar to what they have in the steam room), and that mattresses or vinyl supports could be placed on the platforms where you lie down. Since they're tiled, the humidity and heat make them extremely slippery and even dangerous, plus they're cold and uncomfortable. The place still has space; perhaps adding a couple of small cabins for more privacy during the action would also be excellent. And well, that's all. I'm very grateful for having such a great and well-maintained space. I understand there aren't many community spaces in the city, and the fact that you created this haven is truly commendable. I also want to thank them for the excellent treatment; the Panamanians treated me very well. They are lovely people and very friendly to foreigners, and I definitely want to return. When I do, I would love to see a renovated Sauna HamMan, even better than it already is.

Very nice sauna, compared to the other ones I visited around the world, this one has two jaquizis, big steam room and even a dancefloor. It’s very clean and friendly. I went on Wednesday and by 10PM it was getting busy. Will be back!
