W Atlanta - Midtown

Under construction currently. Rooms are nice and staff is pleasant. The dust and waiting on one elevator was annoying. Location is on point if you want to walk the city or do aquarium.

Camila was the best hotel front desk person I have ever encountered. Total game changer. She anticipated every need and is a gem. Needs a raise!

EVERYONE, ASK FOR YOUR REFUND!! We booked the w hotel for spring break because of their pool, and was told on the spot that they closed it, without any prior communication about this. The manager refused to book us at a different Marriott hotel or even give us breakfast vouchers. With a surly attitude , the manager just gave us a final offer of $100 refund in total, take it or leave it. Later when we talk to other guests at the hotel, they were equally upset about the false advertising but did not even get a refund simply because they did not ask for it. So don't let Marriott (a 30 billion dollar worth hotel chain) sweep it under the rug and get away with it. Call them for a refund, if you recently stayed there and experienced the same issue; ask them to lower the price, if you are planning to book here; share your experience and their response here and on google map if you have negotiated with them. Organize = power.

The rooftop deck has tremendous views.

If you enjoy spending $500 a night to live in a construction zone then this is the place for you. The lobby is closed, check in is closed, parking lot is closed, valet is closed, restaurant is closed, bar is closed, pool is closed, your room is likely closed. You will wake up with drywall in your hair, there is drywall in your breakfast, and yes, drywall in your toilet. Good luck

This might be the most unpleasant stay that I’ve ever had in a Marriott hotel. The entire lobby is a construction zone. When you pull in to the valet area to check in, nothing is clearly marked. You just assume you’re in the right place and there’s no one there to tell you if you park there or where. Onsite parking is a whopping $65. The worst of it, I’ve never been awoken by the sound of major construction in my hotel room. Early on the day I was planning to check out, it sounded like a drill and a jackhammer were going to be coming straight through my ceiling. On the 5th floor, a good portion of the hallway is already loud because it’s also under construction. The room number tiles all look like they’ve been damaged by something, too. If you’re planning a stay in downtown Atlanta for anything, I’d certainly steer clear of this property. If I could get my money back for this, I would stay literally anywhere else.

The most horrible experience with the understanding that they are under construction however, after a long flight, waiting for our rooms to be ready, there was no real lounge area, which was super frustrating. We got there a tad bit earlier than expected and waiting wasn’t the problem, but there is not a real waiting area But a lovely woman name Rachelle from the spa area help us out and found a little lounge in the spa Area where we could wait and use the bathroom on top of that, the pool is not even available. I called ahead of time and ask if the pool will at least be in service while our stay and they said yes, and that was not the case total waste of money. No accommodation and our rooms were not clean daily
