Great breakfast

This place is a gem!! From the lobby to the bar to the restaurant to the rooms! My daughter turned 40 and we took her here for a girls day. Spent the night in the coolest double queen deluxe room that featured a jack and Jill bathroom, we each had our own space. It was so great. The restaurant was next level and we loved the speakeasy. We had a spa day right down the street that was also wonderful!! Cañon city you’ve impressed me!! I want to go again and bring friends!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel St Cloud. The hotel was charming and beautiful. The staff were thoughtful and took care of every need. The restaurant and bar areas were fun to visit and food and drinks exceptional. We will definitely visit again!!

Our room was 210 and the room was actually very nice, but our view looked at the side of a large air-conditioning unit. Not above it, looking down on it but looking at the side of it. It would have been nice to have been told this and have had the opportunity to change. The hotel over all was fantastic. We had a fantastic dinner and would recommend the restaurant. The location of the hotel was perfect. You may want to call If you book a room and want something different than what we got.

Fantastic Hotel and restaurant

We attended a wedding nearby and the bride reserved rooms at this hotel. I paid $30 to have the room ready by noon. We arrived around one, and our room wasn’t ready. Also, the a/c or fan in our room was extraordinarily loud, and it impacted our ability to sleep. If we turned the fan off, the room got really hot. So we had to run it. Other than that, hotel was very cute as were the rooms.

Awesome historic hotel. Rooms were amazing and the beds were some of the most comfortable. Speak easy was a nice cool place to sit and have a night cap. Only complaints are the restaurant service, at least for breakfast, is lacking. The other complaint is the bar next door. Depending on the location of your room, be prepared for midnight arguments, fights, and police. It will keep you up at night and is a problem.

Everything about the hotel is wonderful. The food is good. The breakfasts are amazing! Try the breakfast burritos. They are crazy big and delicious! The room we stayed in was gorgeous! My bed was off the ground and three layers of goose down blankets. The wood work and carpentry is perfection. A very quiet and relaxing room. The downstairs is fun. The bar is well stocked with good liquor and a talented hostess. The host(s) were perfect as well. Very helpful and available. We loved the hotel and would not want to stay anywhere else!

The Hotel St. Cloud was our staging facility for the whole Canon City-Royal Gorge experience. We decided to spend our anniversary in an historic area of Colorado where there were enough activities to keep us busy and entertained for a few days. All of the St. Cloud staff were friendly and helpful with Chris Taplin serving as our unofficial source for information on pretty much everything we wanted to know. We actually extended our stay an extra night, even though the hotel was sold-out for the weekend Blossom Festival, when Chris informed us our room had become available. The main bar and the speakeasy bar, filled with friendly locals and some interesting tourists, had great bartenders . All in all, a very enjoyable experience from start to finish.
