Holiday Jones

I didn't like it because my room opens onto another room. Four of us have to share a tiny 3-square-meter room. Also, to go to the bathroom, you have to go outside and walk through the hallway before you can even use it. It's crazy!

I asked where I could buy a fan for my room and they straight up gave me one. Also, love love love that pop art!

I LOVED my stay at Holiday Jones. I was in town for a concert and just exploring the city by myself for a few days. Holiday Jones is perfectly located-right in the heart of a trendy-hipster arts district, near a million bars, convenience stores and great restaurants. (There's even a cafe right on the first floor!) It's easy to pretend that you're a native to the city. The hostel itself is CLEAN and everyone is very respectful of the quiet time hours. The downstairs rec room is well equipped with a kitchenette, TVs, pool tables and even computers! Rooms are very comfortable and clean-tiny, but they're really for people who will be out exploring and need somewhere to sleep. If you dont mind sharing a room, the price canNOT be beat. I think I paid maybe $40 for my whole stay. I had the time of my life while I was in Chicago and I don't think it would have been quite the same if I didn't have the Holiday Jones to come back to every night. LOVED.

Reasonable pricing & very convenient spot! I will definitely book rooms for the future.

The place is super clean, smells great, and is a comfortable space. If you're not staying there, stop by for some delicious Argentinian empanadas, and please order the chimichurri—you won't regret it. The service is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Just what I needed

I was checking in annd went upstairs to my room its not my job to tell other guest to move their belongings off my bed ! $20 fee what .... Will never go back to that hostel ever , ever again LAME ... I was so tired and sick because of the whole altercation so not cool and not understanding... Theres so many other awesome hostel in the area like the HI HOSTEL and WRIGLEY HOSTEL

Inexpensive, unique, clean, close to a subway station. Excellent experience.
