About this place Holiday Jones

This hip hostel in Chicago's Wicker Park aims for LGBTQ+ travelers, with rooms covering most budgets and styles. You can grab a bunk in a gender-specific dorm or a private room for a group; some have their own bathrooms, others share. Every room comes with free WiFi, wood floors, and decent linens and towels. Its location helps you get around Chicago. An El train stop, four blocks off, goes straight downtown. Oak Street Beach is only 2.5 miles away, an easy trip when it's warm enough. The immediate area around the hostel has plenty going on, and it's easy to walk everywhere. Freebies are a big draw here: continental breakfast, parking, and computer access in the lobby. You can also rent bikes if you want to explore Wicker Park and beyond on two wheels.

Excellent. Very clean throughout. Rooms are pretty close quarters small), but sufficient for their purpose- to sleep. Bathrooms very clean. There was never a time I needed to use one that there wasn't one available. Friendly staff.. Great about extra pillows or linens. Awesome, fully-equipped kitchen. Must label food in refrig. Comfortable, large versatile lounge area with sofa, Large tv table/chairs, built in benches for larger groups or to spread out, Also desk area equipped with a computer for guest use. Wifi connection throughout strong.

Lovely. Everything from the café to the communal kitchen, to the very clean bathrooms, super comfy beds, and friendly staff. I loved staying here!

My Mom, & I stayed here in Chicago, 2 years ago. We loved it. The price of the room was decent, and inexpensive. The Room was nice as well. We wouldn't mind staying there again, if we needed to. The Staff were VERY Nice, and helpful, after helping us out with the cab service. My Mom had accidentally left her cell phone on the Amtrak train (304), from Alton IL to Chicago IL, that we were on. The Train Maintenance Crew found the cell phone, after 3 Days. I/We had to go back and forth to/from the Hotel, to the Chicago Amtrak Station MULTIPLE TIMES, to try to find the phone, & talking with the Amtrak Lost and Found Employees/Supervisor. But, I/We FINALLY got the problem RESOLVED.! No problems afterward, THANK GOD.! But, I/We had a good time in Chicago, despite the anger, the frustration, the waiting, and the traffic. Next time, I/We will be MORE AWARE of our belongings, when we travel together on the train, LoL. But, THANK YOU Holiday Jones Hostel for helping us out with our problem that we had. 👍🙏🇺🇸🚅📱.

Very affordable I loved it not a place for small children because of the quiet hours they have late at night
