Amazing everything

Great place, neat buiding, but the AC doesn't work anywhere fully, and they aren't telling you. My first room never got below 77 degrees, the second one struggled to keep it at 72. And that's with the curtains totally closed all day. I wouldn't recommend this place, I know the AC can be fixed but the fact that management is still selling rooms with faulty AC and not telling people is really, really poor decision making. The only "break" they gave me was a discount on my "resort fee" (what is that even for? Just another thing tagged on so the room rate can be advertised lower?) and 2 free breakfasts. The staff was REALLY nice, including the valet, but they were put in a rough position by management. I keep seeing "As a luxury hotel" in the "owners response" and I just laugh. A TRUE luxury hotel takes care of people first, and putting people in rooms with faulty ANYTHING without notification is poor business. Avoid this place due to that.

We only used the valet service today and each of the employees who interacted with us were very friendly and efficient. Everyone was very guest service oriented and it was a pleasure to park here. So convenient for attending a 1pm play at the Buell Theatre! We look forward to staying at Hotel Teatro the next time we have an overnight in Denver. Thanks for the fast and friendly service today! Great location, staff were nice, and they allowed us to store our bags. The A/C in the room did not work at all though and the room was 80 degrees. They could only offer a swamp cooler (with no ventilation so it wouldn’t work properly) or a fan, no room change. They refunded us upon request and we had to find a last minute hotel ending up in the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown which ended up being a larger room, better fitness center, had great A/C, better views, and was less expensive.

We had a fine stay. Nothing spectacular. You'd raised my expectations by texting me, asking for any requests... when I did, you did not have the capacity to meet them. When I checked in, clearly asking for a higher floor. Reception staff said there was none. So I checked into a 4th floor room. The view was disaster, looking at the back of a garage. Then I called to ask again as this was not acceptable for a $350+++ room. I was told there was a room on 8th floor... waited for person to come give me the key. Why was this necessary? You could've given me that room to begin with... Sigh. Hotel Teatro sent me an upgrade email to which I replied and asked for a corner upgrade. Agreed to pay the $70+ upcharge. When I got there, no such room was honored. Why ask? Why ask then NOT deliver???? I don't understand... Disappointed. Yet the hotel was fine.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was well appointed and the staff very friendly. Most importantly to us for our stay was the location. Once we got our bags to the room we were ready to go out and explore the city near the hotel. Many of the highly recommended restaurants and bars were all within walking distance. It was nice to be able to park and enjoy walking around. One tip I would recommend, the valet parking is a little on the pricey side, but there is a parking garage directly across the street that has cheaper parking and seems pretty secure.

I stayed at this hotel and was told at check in the rooms “run hot “ . They said they would deliver a fan. They delivered a cheap fan that I had to plug in and leave in the middle of the limited space walkway between my bed and the bathroom. With AC full blast and a fan the coolest we could get the room was 79 degrees while the hallway outside my room was at least 15 degrees cooler. The room was small. The sheets were scratchy. The bed was uncomfortable and very hard. We ordered room service and it was terrible, delivered without condiments or water on a small tray with plates stacked up and nowhere in the room to set them. Valet for 1 night was $67! That is more expensive than high end luxury hotels in NYC. Would definitely not recommend this hotel!!
