Super 8 by Wyndham Kremmling

My husband and I have been coming here for years. We like to stay here on our way to Steamboat to break up the drive. Never had a problem.. This year was a disappointment. When we checked in at 7pm the night before, the front desk woman never gave us any details other than “heres your keys and your room numbers” no breakfast time window, nothing else. That night: The front desk was no where to be found when what we thought was our smoke alarm went off. No one answered the after hours phone. After about 20 mins we figured out it was the carbon monoxide alarm. We had to just sleep with the battery pulled out, assuming it was a dead battery. In the morning we weren’t expecting much from the breakfast, the hotel was certainly not full (there’s no snow in colorado right now, so very few travelers, there were maybe 2 other cars in the parking lot), but there were only 3 muffins, 4 granola bars, a couple instant oatmeal packets, and about 5 yogurts left. My group was my husband and I and another couple and their daughter. My husband and I sat down to eat around 8:45am (there’s a sign in the room that said breakfast ends at 10am). Wish I would’ve taken a photo for proof! When our friends came to get something at 9am, the front desk woman came in behind them, before they could get anything, and grabbed all the food left with a snarl and a dirty look. We joked to each other about it, cause like I said, we weren’t expecting a lot, but they didn’t get anything. Then, as we walked out my husband asked why she took it out. She said “breakfast is over!”. The sign in the room clearly said it went till 10am. Even if it was over at 9am, she could’ve just told us instead of grabbing it all away as if we were trying to steal the breakfast we paid for. She avoided eye contact when we left and me when I said “thanks”. Not the hospitality you expect of someone working the front desk at a hotel. The rooms/beds were sufficient. Just don’t expect much from the breakfast or the front desk ;-)

Very welcoming and friendly staff! Layla was so sweet she put on the broncos game for us in the lobby, and we all enjoyed watching them win! Made it feel like home ! Lovely little place!

Layla and Rosie are great, help you out treat you as the "paying customer" A1 compliments to those ladies. Now for Krystal Rivera, the manager, rude, no customer service skills whatsoever, she feels she is better than you, her personality shows that. Checked in on Tuesday night, December 30th 2025, by telephone with Rosie, told her we will be staying till Saturday January 1-3, possibly till Sunday the 4, checkout then. We stayed at this place all last winter, at least 25 days, madey more, we snowmobile at Rabbit Ears pass. On Friday on the way down mountain had a rude voicemail from Krystal, saying we were supposed to be checked out that day at 11, she made Rosie and Layla move all of our belongings out of the room and said someone else had it reserved. I called her back and explained to her she was wrong, but she didn't want to hear nothing about that, told her I was not going to argue with her on the phone I would take care of it when we arrived back at hotel, she rudely told me she is not there and she hung up on me. When I got back to hotel, Layla and Rosie, who was on telephone with Layla, promptly took care of us and made sure we had a room, right back in the same one Krystal threw us out of. How nice of them. Still not satisfied, I was charged $137.00 for 2 nights, charged $187.00 for another day, which is supposed to be military pricing, if this is what you charge our great veterans and people that serve, shame on you. So needless to say I will be contacting Wydam coprate office to voice my complaints about Krystal Rivera, and I will also be disputing the outrageous charges with my credit card company. I could have used Booking.com and got the rooms for $212.00 for 2 nights, but I usually just call Kremling Super 8 direct and recieve good rates all the time, as I stated we stayed there at least 25 days or more last winter. Thanks, very dissatisfied customer. Will also voice my opinion on social media about Krystal, and how we got treated at the Kremling Super 8 by Wydam. I should have called the cops on Krystal for removing our belongings without our permission.

I booked a room here around 10:30pm for the same night and arrived about an hour later, but no one was at the front desk and I wasn’t able to check in. There was a phone number left on the desk, but no one answered despite multiple calls. I ended up having to find another place to stay late at night. The refund also took 5 days because the manager was on vacation, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. I understand things happen, but there should at least be reliable after-hours support or a clearer process for guests arriving late.

Let's not pretend this is a 5 star type hotel, as its a Super 8. Its a solid 3.5 star. 4 for their service and price. Not luxury, but suffice, meaning clean, decent bedding and furniture. Few in room repairs could be done, but not a deal breaker (mainly walls in bathroom drywall repairs and new updated fauces would help). IT is well managed and safe environment!

Horrible experience in this place. Room 213 was horrible. Our check is tomorrow but we couldnt take it anymore so we packed up and are on the road. Curtains still falling off (someone else mentioned that in a review 3 months ago). Mold in the bathroom. And that noise, every single night. Sounded like someone was running back and forth. Was waiting for them to fall through the ceiling. Although Lila was great at check in, Tuesday's manager and Friday's receptionist were extremely rude as if they're doing us a favor. And not to mention both smoking inches away from the front main entrance. Gives the place a bad look. We are very disappointed. Will never stay there again and will most definitely not recommend it to anyone.

We had a problem with our Motorcoach on Rabbit Ears pass and had to be towed to Kremling. What an incredible day working through the issues. Thankfully the Super 8 took dogs!!! We arrived late that night at 8pm but Layla was so accommodating and steared us to the pizza place next door for a late dinner. She was awesome. The next morning we were trying to determine if the Rv would be ready before 11am (check out). Crystal worked with us till 11am and gave us a few minutes extra to figure out our plans. I cannot say enough about them!! So accommodating. We love you guys.

The staff there are amazing. Great attitudes and very helpful. I stayed two nights and felt at home.

This place was beyond terrible when we stayed there last summer.

Very clean and reasonable price. The mgr Krystal was AWSOME. She treaded us like family. Definitely will go back. Everything is in walking distance.
