Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa

There was no water in the room. When I arrived on first day, I was notified that the hotel is overbooked, I had to find new accommodation at 11:30pm. I am also charged way more than the regular price for next night. It was a horrible stay. The night I stayed did not have any water in the morning, when I called to ask about the issue, the receptionist told me without any remorse that they cut it off to fix some issues. Atleast the hotel could have notified, and I would have been prepared before sitting on the toilet seat. It was a total waste of my money.

Amazing! I loved this place and will definitely come back! It’s wonderful, magical, and very romantic! We were treated very well by everyone, but especially by a staff member named Ariana, who gave us special attention and provided us with lots of information and great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Mr. Manager, please give a good bonus to our friend Ariana from Simon’s Cliff House Restaurant. She does an excellent job, because although everyone works well, not everyone works with a smile — and Ariana does!

Beautiful 3 night stay for our anniversary. Location, accommodations, people and food were all 5 star. Regina was our favorite server. We will definitely be back!!

GREAT wedding cetemony venue

This is about the spa, not the hotel. I was gifted a manicure/pedicure for Christmas at the spa, but when I checked the website I opted for the deluxe pedicure and even added on the $30 leg exfoliation, moisturizer and massage. This came to $185 but I thought I would be fun to splurge at the fancy spa. It made me realize how much I miss Salon Visio (another local spa that closed) First- the place customers sit for their pedicure is a hard flat bench with pillows. No reclining, not remotely comfortable. 2nd-No fancy cucumber water (considering the pedicure was listed as an hour and a half long, and the price-you would think there would be some refreshment). The technician was very sweet but honestly this wasn't any different than any other pedicure I have gotten. She did spend a fantastic amount of time getting the dry skin off my feet, which I totally appreciate but then just rubbed some exfoliator on my legs and was done. She did say she would be back to massage my feet after the nail polish was dry but I don't think she was actually trained in massage. I thought it would be fun to splurge but next time I will just go to the normal pedicure place for half the cost, where are the chairs are actually comfortable. Definitely not a "spa" experience, and with a tip it was over $200 😞

Hotel location is perfect and the hotel history as interesting as Oregon’s itself. We loved the 1920’s vibe and overall the well kept grounds; walking around was a treat itself as important as all the nature hikes, the waterfalls and rainforests we visit during our road trip through the PNW. Michelle on the front desk was incredible and the cleaning crew very friendly. The view (river) from our room was breathtaking. The hotel is so beautiful that I understand why so many want to celebrate their weddings there. It was pure magic.

Happy wags to the staff!!! My dog gives it five stars plus. Treat pack on arrival. Warm greetings whenever they saw us. Perfect garden for walking and exploring, including a meandering small stream with a waterfall! An enchanting, magical vintage location. We were planning to stay for one night and stayed for two! That says it all.

Beautiful property, friendly bar and restaurant staff. Front desk staff were unfriendly and borderline rude. Our room had a vent that made it so we could hear what was going on very loudly from the room beside us.

Felt very lucky to be able to afford and stay at this historical, landmark hotel. It is a well preserved Arts and Craft styled hotel, in an unbelievable setting.
