Aloft by Marriott Miami Dadeland

Very pleased with the location of the hotel and our room which was immaculately clean. The fresh made breakfast was delicious. More importantly the staff was amazing. Everyone was polite, friendly and ready to please. Beyond that, after we checked out the housekeeper Rosa found my wedding band and immediately reported it. We were able to turn around and recover it minutes. I am a Titanium Elite Lifetime member of Marriott and am pleased to provide this jewel of a location 5 stars!

We showed up to check in at 8pm. They told us they could not let us in our room because there were maintenance workers in our room repairing the AC. Despite there being other available rooms, they would not move us to one of the available rooms because they told us they were already assigned to other guests who had not yet checked in. They told us, “sorry, the hotel is not first come first served.” They offered no help in procuring us another room at a nearby hotel. As we were already late for the wedding welcome dinner, we were forced to change in the lobby bathroom into our wedding attire. As we were both guests of a wedding room block and Gold Elite Marriott members, we cannot believe we were treated so poorly in this situation. I have never had such an appalling hotel check in situation. They ultimately could not give us any estimate for when the AC would be repaired and our room would be available, so we decided to cancel our reservation and seek another hotel with an available room on our own. We ended up having to pay 4x the original cost of the hotel reservation because the new reservation was so last minute. I am embarrassed for this hotel that they would treat guests this way.

I recently stayed at Aloft Miami Dadeland with my family for nearly two weeks in early April during an incredibly difficult time, following the passing of my father. I truly cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion we received. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team—especially Angel and Chris—made us feel at home. Being greeted by name each day brought a sense of comfort and familiarity that meant so much during such a stressful period. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure our rooms were always clean and that we were well taken care of. A special thank you to Ivan, who checked in on us daily with genuine kindness. We were also able to host a repass in the hotel lounge, and Gabriela was phenomenal throughout the entire process. Since most of the planning had to be done remotely from another country, her guidance, responsiveness, and attention to detail made everything seamless. She truly made a challenging situation so much easier for our family. A particularly touching moment was unexpectedly seeing a familiar face from a previous stay. In November 2024, I stayed at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Miami Airport South Blue Lagoon Area, and the bartender from that hotel was working at Aloft during our visit. He remembered me and my family, which was such a warm and comforting surprise during an emotional time. It was also very important for us to stay somewhere that offered convenience for our extended family, many of whom were flying in and not driving. This hotel truly delivered—there were things to do within walking distance and in the lobby, and the location felt safe and accessible. Having food options both on-site and in the immediate area made everything that much easier for everyone. Overall, I am deeply thankful to the entire staff for their professionalism, compassion, and support. You helped make a very difficult time feel manageable, and that will never be forgotten.

Stayed at the Aloft Hotel in Dadeland. I was very happy because the location is very convenient.it’s Located near Dadeland Mall and other retail stores and restaurants. The hotel has a very nice Ambience. The rooms are cozy and very well kept. The service was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. A shout out to Ivan, who is one of the employees there. He was very friendly and provided what we lack in a lot of of places, which is serviced with a smile!😊 I give it a rating of five stars and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Good experience, much better than many years ago. Room cleanliness and service were good, and the staff were excellent. Maria Elena, the maid on the 2nd floor in room 214, was particularly noteworthy.

Never staying at this property again. Rooms are too loud from highway next door. Got moved 3 times. One room had dirty floors, last room had drain flies in bathroom. Lobby smelled like fish. Short staffed, lobby employees not always at front counter. Last rol. They gave me had one of the beds not even made!! Employee refused to give me a fourth room, I gave up, and didn't want to drive almost 2 hours home for a meeting I had early next morning. I told them don't put me next to an elevator, of course the last room they put me in was next to an elevator. Kid working front desk had a real arrogant attitude and no sympathy at all. One of my worst Marriott experiences

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Angel for the exceptional service he provides. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He consistently goes above and beyond to make guest feel comfortable and valued, and his positive attitude truly stands out. Angel is not only attentive and helpful, but he also brings such a warm and friendly energy that makes the entire experience more enjoyable. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work and cares about creating a great environment for guests. Employees like Angel make a lasting impression, and he is definitely an asset to the hotel. I truly appreciate his outstanding service and hope receives the recognition he deserves!
