The Harry Packer Mansion Inn

Personally I'm really enjoying the old woodwork and architecture and seeing with my own eyes the history that has taken place here the mansion is clean and the staff are friendly had a nice breakfast

Naomi and the staff were great. Bar is well stocked with lots of options. Great location near town if you want to walk, BUT the hill is very steep. Great porch to sit out and relax on, with a nice playlist. Bed was a little soft for my liking, there was no room service. The breakfast was Hampton Inn quality. I would scrap the scrambled eggs they serve with a different option. In general, it was a good spot in the awesome town of Jim Thorpe.

Have you ever paid to walk through an historic home? This is where you get to stay in one! I just loved staying in a place like this. The negative was that it was old, but that's the charm as well! If I go back I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We just finished the Murder Mystery Weekend experience with a group of our friends and we had an absolutely incredible time. This was our first time staying in a Bed & Breakfast so I was a little leery of the experience and what we were in for, but from the pre-planning assistance the owner, Cathy, provided to the final farewell from Naomi, Chelle, Abby, and Jazlyn, we were beyond impressed with the entire experience. The mansion is well appointed and maintained with many of the original elements still in tact; making you feel as though you have taken a step back in time. We stayed in Annie’s Suite which was light, airy, spacious, and made us feel as though we were living our best Victorian lives each time we entered the room. They mystery itself and the actors were very talented and they did a phenomenal job ad libbing based on some of our groups zany responses. The patio is a beautiful place to unwind in the evening with breathtaking views of Jim Thorpe below. One evening we even had the pleasure of hearing live entertainment from Jordan Allen, an artist with local roots. We all had a lot of laughs singing along and he was was a very talented musician. Thank you to Tom, Cathy, Naomi, Chelle, Abby, Jazlyn, and the actors from What May Come Immersive! We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Ohmygoodness! What can I say?! We had SO much fun! A bunch of my family and friends stayed at the Harry Packer Mansion for a Murdery Mystery Weekend. The staff was amazing (hi Naomi!) and the actors were top notch! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Mansion and the event to everyone. Thanks to the owners, staff, and actors for an unforgettable weekend.

I came with a large group (11) and we all had an excellent time. Naomi is the hostess with the mostest. She made sure we had everything we needed and showed us a great time. The Murder Mystery was excellent, the actors were all great. Would recommend to anyone!

Naomi., Chelle and Abby were the BEST, they took amazing care of us! ! We highly recommend the Murder Mystery Weekend! The Mansion is beautiful, and the town of Jim Thorpe is a fun enjoyable place to visit.

This is the best hotel we ever stayed at Kathy tom and Naomi made our stay one of the best romantic getaway experiences we ever had. They went above and beyond to help us with are engagement arrangements. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My fiancé and I have now stayed at the Harry Packer Mansion twice (2025 & 2026) and have been beyond impressed each time. The staff are attentive, kind, and welcoming. Simultaneously, you feel at home and struck by wonder when staying at the mansion. For couples interested in Pennsylvanian history, simply a romantic and leisurely weekend getaway, or something in between, the Harry Packer Mansion is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are immaculate, breakfast is served fresh and warm (with accommodations). Upon check in, they make sure to ask if you have any allergies and what time you would like to eat breakfast to make sure there is enough food for each guest. As a guest, you are provided with the code to the back door so that you may come and go at your leisure. My fiancé and I had our engagement photos done at the mansion and were beyond happy with the experience. Once again, the staff were extraordinarily kind - it felt as though we had the whole building to ourselves. Our photographers were extremely grateful as well!
