Quality Inn Allen - Plano East

Horrible place to stay molded ceiling, broken tiles, cracks on walls. The smell was horrible. Did not feel safe at all during our stay.

Check-in was quick and easy. Check out. Was even easier It was close to a lot of things, so we didn't have to go very far Until we headed out

Upon arrival I check beds for any signs of bed bugs as I always do at every hotel before bringing my things in. When I walked in, the light switch was broken, the lamp was stained brown, the floor was dusty and dirty. I inspected the beds, pulled back the mattress covers and noticed bed bug stains on the corners and along the head of the bed. One queen bed had active bugs. I left and reported it to the front desk. She then told me she didn’t have anything available downstairs, she said she would have to put me upstairs (no elevator) pregnant with 4 kids and loads of stuff. I said that’s not going to work. She immediately found a room on the first floor..the new room was clean. She was nice and accommodating. My tv wasn’t working properly and I told the front desk but they never came to fix it. I will not stay here again but the manager was very nice.

Very disappointed with our stay at Quality Inn Allen - Plano East. The condition of the hotel and the customer service were both unacceptable. Our toilet overflowed, and when we reported it to the front desk, we were handed a plunger and old towels instead of having maintenance come help. The door lock was damaged, the cushion sheets were ripped, and the room phone didn’t work. Front desk staff insisted the phone worked, but when we checked the cords ourselves, they were covered in sticky syrup. Housekeeping never cleaned or picked up our room during our stay. It was also extremely difficult to get assistance at the front desk because staff were usually in the back office on personal phone calls and continued their conversations while helping guests. The website advertised a heated pool, but it was not heated at all. The pool and hot tub both looked dirty and dingy, and the hot tub smelled bad enough that we didn’t even want to use it. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The property is poorly maintained, and customer service was very unprofessional.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet, friendly staff. Great pool area and for the price point a good breakfast included.
