SMYRC (Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center)

SMYRC, the Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center, is a Portland program for LGBTQ+ young people run by New Avenues for Youth. It offers a drop-in space, peer support, referrals to counselling, housing and health services, and social and arts programming. It is for youth only, not adult visitors. Our listing gives an address on SW Columbia Street downtown but files it under a Southeast neighbourhood, so check the New Avenues website for the current location and drop-in hours.
