Nothing short of a remarkable stay.

A truly magical place that redefines what “hospitality” should mean. In an era of creeping shrinkflation and aloofness in the hotel industry, this felt like a true oasis, a harkening to a simpler time. After our second time here, I don’t think we or our friends would consider any alternatives in Provincetown. Their renovation has gone a long way: the rooms are so tasteful and cozy with many lovely details, including the claw tub and fireplace in our room which we loved. You could not want for any amenities: a tactfully placed coffee station, an in-room fridge, a fun hot tub, and most importantly their delicious homemade breakfast all make the weekend so much better. And of course Jeff and Jim themselves are the true linchpins of the experience; they are so warm and friendly and focused on getting to know their guests while also providing great recommendations. They have partnerships with many Cape businesses that result in benefits to their customers, e.g. discounted bike rentals and ferry tickets. Thanks for a great stay and see you next year! ❤️

Absolutely wonderful. Recently revamped and renovated with lovely rooms. The two owners couldn’t be more hospitality focused. Excellent cooking and baking. The breakfast every morning in the garden was delicious. Other benefits - incredible location one block away from Commercial St, hot tub, Aesop bath products, plush robes.

Our two-day getaway to Provincetown was somewhat impulsive, so we made our reservation just a month ahead, not realizing we would be staying just ahead of and as Bear Week began. Gaslamp had the perfect combination of location, fair price, and the kind of room we wanted (king bed). Our stay far exceeded our expectations with a supremely comfortable bed, quiet and spacious room, with incredible breakfast and afternoon treats, and friendly hosts. Jeff, Jim, and Nathaniel make for a formidable team and are great conversationalists. The backyard garden is magical and cozy. We didn’t make use of the hot tub, but it looked well-maintained. We definitely will be returning here, and plan to make this an intentional choice in the future!

Had a lovely long weekend at Gaslamp - Jim and Jeff are wonderful hosts (and amazing cooks) full of great local recommendations! The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with comfortable beds and everything you need for a comfortable stay. A perfect spot (located right in the heart of town) for a weekend getaway or a quiet retreat.

The location, rooms and amenities are top notch. But what makes the Gaslamp really shine are the hosts Jeff & Jim. They are there to help with anything, tips on what to do during your stay and some of the best food I've ever had at a bed & breakfast. I will be going back again!

Walking distance to the Commercial St. fun, The Gaslamp provides a warm, antique feel with a stunning garden oasis in the back. The decor is unique, antique, and quirky, creating a cozy, homey atmosphere throughout the house. Owners Jeff & Jim do such a fabulous job with breakfast in the morning. A delicious display of homemade breakfast awaits you in the morning on the back deck as you take in the whimsical, colorful garden scenery with a cup of coffee. Nathanial the house Frenchie may even join you 🐶! Our bedroom was super cozy, and the shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean. We felt so well taken care of – my boyfriend and I will definitely be returning on our next Provincetown trip. Thank you Jeff and Jim for the wonderful stay!

Carnival 2024. Booked the last available room at Gaslamp in a last-minute pinch. My stay was exceptional. Owner Jeff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the delectable baked treats and tomatoes grown from the backyard of the building. Location and parking was very accessible. Arrive before 9am to find a parking spot during special event weeks. Definitely booking again!

Such a great stay at Gaslamp! We stayed 4 nights on 4th of July weekend. Loved the location and breakfasts were amazing :) Hosts are incredibly polite and super nice guys. Hot tub was definitely a great amenity. It was our first time visiting Ptown and I’m looking forward to coming back.

My mom and I stayed here on a random January night! Fantastic experience and the breakfast and conversation were amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!
