A predecessora íntima da Folsom Street Fair — a Up Your Alley (também conhecida como Dore Alley Fair) acontece no último domingo de julho no bairro SoMa de São Francisco. Realizada em um beco real entre as ruas Folsom e Howard, é menor e mais comunitária que a Folsom, mas mantém o mesmo ethos leather e fetichista. Cerca de 20 a 30 mil pessoas se reúnem em um espaço que parece genuinamente subterrâneo. Produzida pela mesma organização da Folsom Street Fair e beneficiando instituições LGBTQ+.

Up Your Alley runs on a suggested donation at the Dore Street gates and every dollar goes back to Folsom Street Events' nonprofit beneficiaries. Small bills speed up the line.
Go early, stay small
The fair is 11am–6pm on a single South of Market block and it gets shoulder-to-shoulder by mid-afternoon. Arrive close to opening if you want photos, room to cruise, or any chance at the shorter bar queues.
