Courtyard by Marriott Stockton

Daytrip to stockton. I checked in at 11ish pm. Troy was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and I couldnt nitpick on anything. The parking was a bit tough. I had to move my car 2-3x as people left, to get a better spot. The lobby is great for morning meet ups. I checked out the next morning and it was a breeze. No complaints.

Paired with friendly staff members and newly renovated rooms, its nice to see the hotel is receiving a modern face-lift on the exterior. Location is great, its in a peaceful business park / neighborhood with lots of dining options.

Two nights stay. They never cleaned our room ever. Coffee in the room terrible and hidden. Tiny Spartan bathroom, no bath robes. very noisy air conditioner.

Best hotel I've been to. Had a great night sleep! Staff were friendly too!

Room 107 and 329 infested with ants!! Upon entering my first room, 107, the initial reaction was that it was clean with a king bed as reserved and after looking around inspecting the room as I always do, I unpacked my belongings because it appeared nice. I left shortly after for dinner and returned after an hour, to find my entire room was infested with ants from top to bottom. They were on and inside my belongings. I quickly shook and cleaned everything off and repacked. I went to the front to request a new room where I was given a free water for my problems (yay) and then provided a downgraded room with two full size beds. Upon entering my room, I removed all of my belongings to clean off where I found several more ants to get rid of as well as on my legs. I inspected the room and found a couple more on the desk assuming from my stuff. The next morning, I found several in and around the bathroom. Upon leaving, I looked near the ice machine on 3rd floor, saw more ants. The place is infected. I was offered zero further compensation, help or reimbursement from the night shift or morning crew. Do not recommend 👎

I had a good experience at the Courtyard in Stockton, it was my first time staying here. The room was quiet and the TV was larger than the ones I've had at other Courtyards I've stayed at recently. The room had a large desk with plenty of space to work with a couple of easy access power outlets, but the desk outlets had a horizontal layout configuration so the power adapter for my laptop blocked access of the 2nd outlet. Not an issue as there were other easy access outlets around the room but something to be aware of if you have a lot of power needs that are centralized to the work desk.

Safe location. Place is under remodel which means you can't go in through the front entrance due to construction, but I have no issues with that. As far as the construction, it hasn't bothered me as I am usually gone early for work.

Really comfortable bed and a peaceful room. Staff were friendly and made check in easy.

The hotel is under going constructionso the site is a little chaotic but after 4 the crew is packed up and gone. The hotel does need this face lift for sure. The room we had was slightly upgraded but still needs work just paint here and there and a new dead bolt because ours was loose. There were no bags in our trash cans and the room needs a body mirror. The amenities were all hiding like the coffee machine and the microwave was in a cabinet and not on top of the cabinet so I had to go around looking for it same for the refrigerator. While the staff was slightly friendly I believe a little more education around the Marriott loyalty program is in order as there was a communication gap with the staff did occur. Other than these issues this hotel is in a great location close to the freeway and also away from the craziness of Stockton as the area seems peaceful with beautiful homes around the area and food easily accessible.
