World AIDS Day 2026
Join AIDS Delaware and the Wilmington (DE) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for a day of education, advocacy, and community as we come together to raise awareness, promote healthier communities, and honor World AIDS Day.
We invite you to participate in two special events throughout the day.
Event 1: HIV Testing & Education Event
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Wilmington Public Library10 East 10th Street, Wilmington, DE(Across from Rodney Square)
There will be FREE HIV testing, health screenings, flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, guest speakers, HIV prevention education, community resources, and food. This is an opportunity to learn more about your health, access important resources, and connect with organizations serving our community.
Event 2: Candlelight Vigil & Art Show
5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
First & Central Presbyterian Church1101 North Market Street, Wilmington, DE(Across from the Hotel DuPont)

Gather with us for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and hope as we honor the lives lost to AIDS and celebrate the strength and resilience of our community. The evening will include a candlelight vigil, a special art show, speakers from across Delaware, music, and food.
Whether you join us for the morning event, the evening gathering, or both, your presence helps make a difference.
