Babel Córdoba

What a horrible experience. Poor service, old furniture, noise from bars until 6am, hard bed, no change of sheets or towels, small fridge with crusty freezer section, broken shelves, terrible WiFi. The only good thing is the location in a good neighborhood, but forget this place. For the price there has to be so much better in Cordoba.

We booked through Booking.com and were assigned a nice, but run-down, studio apartment. We were charged a deposit, which they later returned to me on checkout. The area is right in the middle of a bar scene, and you can hear absolutely everything—music and shouting until 5 a.m., even—so you can't rest.

The apartment was clean and spacious, which was a plus. I didn't appreciate that, before checking in, they demanded a large sum of money as a security deposit, either in cash or via bank transfer, in addition to the credit card payment, which was adjusted to the day's exchange rate. I should mention that, although we had booked two apartments with a group of friends, our group's reservation was canceled a week before the trip without any explanation. I found this very unprofessional. The hot water only lasted for one shower, so the rest of us had to shower with cold water. While the apartment's location is good, it's on the first floor in a very busy area of ​​Córdoba, which meant that we could hear shouts and conversations from the street until 4:00 AM, making it impossible to sleep.

It's a studio apartment. The thing is, it wasn't as nice as it looked in the photos. Minor wear and tear, things that get damaged and aren't repaired... but that's understandable. The good and bad thing at the same time is that the apartment faced the street. With a lot of traffic and several bars nearby at night, it's difficult to sleep well. A major drawback.

Absolutely terrible, a disaster. Nothing is as advertised. The place is in terrible condition, the heating doesn't work, and worst of all, I wanted to shower at 11 pm and there was no hot water. Zero, zero, zero recommendation. A total rip-off.
