About the venue
Marimacha Club Social is La Plata's only dedicated LGBTQ+ bar, a small cultural bar and pizzeria on Diagonal 78 between Calles 5 and 6 that opened on 25 October 2024. It's run by and for the queer community, led by lesbians and queer women but with a mixed crowd, and the name reclaims an old slur…
“I could see it was very busy and lively. I didn't go inside, but I went to a brewery next door and saw how much fun everyone was having. There was karaoke. Everyone was singing and laughing. It looks like a fun place. I'll go next time.” — maría, Google
“Beautiful space to share with friends and family, delicious and high-quality food, good work and friendly atmosphere” — Joako Denis, Google
