About this place Chill Inn Hostel

Chill Inn Hostel is a budget hostel on Arístides Villanueva, the street in Mendoza where most of the city's bars and casual restaurants sit. It is a mainstream, gay-friendly place, not an LGBTQ+ venue. Rooms range from simple shared dorms to private doubles. The practical pluses are an outdoor pool, useful in Mendoza's hot summers, and a shared kitchen for cooking your own meals. The crowd is mostly backpackers, many in town for wine tours to Maipú or the Uco Valley, which the hostel's location makes easy to arrange. Being on a nightlife strip means late-evening street noise on weekends, so ask for a room away from the street if you sleep lightly.

I had a wonderful stay; the facilities are beautiful. The staff and volunteers Liz, Valen, and Ari were incredibly attentive and took care of every detail. Thank you so much for your hospitality during my stay.

I liked the place...the location...the rooms. It's the best location on Aristides! The pool...the grill...the attention from the volunteers (Ary) is super attentive. I had a very, very, very bad experience with another volunteer, Valentina. She would open doors and slam them while we were sleeping. She would come into the rooms yelling. If I made coffee, she would throw it away...she gave me towels that smelled musty. And she was abusive. I wasn't the only woman who experienced this abuse. (Because that's the only way she mistreats women.) She never apologized! That was the only bad thing I can say about Chill. Otherwise, it would be perfect. It's a shame that they condone this mistreatment of female guests just because she's small. I don't think it's smart of a manager not to take care of the guests!

Highly recommended, but as with any hostel, you're always dependent on the rude guest who might come in the early hours making noise. However, it's super comfortable, modern, and clean.

This was my first time staying at a hostel, and I would go back a thousand times over. The staff (Liz, Valen, Gonzalo) were all excellent. I felt so comfortable that it was hard to leave. The facilities (kitchen, rooms, bathroom, pool) were perfect, clean, and very comfortable. It has separate parking, and the hostel is practically in the city center. Thank you so much for the great atmosphere! I'll be back soon.
