The Ambulatório LGBTI+ at the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN) was the first LGBTI+ health clinic in the state. It began seeing patients in late September 2019 and formally opened that October, growing out of UERN's family-health residency with local LGBTI+ groups and the city. The team covers psychology, nursing, family medicine, dentistry, social work and nutrition, and it offers hormone therapy for trans people. A 2022 study said it ran one evening a week in the UERN nursing faculty building on the central campus. We couldn't confirm current hours or a phone number, so contact UERN before you go.
