Movilh

Movilh (Movimiento de Integración y Liberación Homosexual) is Chile's best-known LGBTQ+ rights organisation, founded in Santiago in 1991 during the early years of the return to democracy. It has campaigned for the main legal changes of the last two decades: the 2012 anti-discrimination law (Ley Zamudio), civil unions in 2015, the 2018 gender identity law and marriage equality, in force since 2022. It also runs legal support, reports discrimination cases and publishes an annual human rights report. The office is at Coquimbo 1410 in Santiago Centro, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. It's a working office, not a social space, so call +56 2 2633 3455 before you visit.
