Excellent hotel. The service is paramount; all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are super comfortable; they don't have air conditioning, but with Bogotá's temperature, it's not needed. It's very well located, with restaurants and cafes all within walking distance, as well as a church and supermarkets. I loved my stay. I would gladly return.

We stayed in Bogota for 4 nights. Booked this hotel based on its rating, but we were disappointed with this Mercure. It is a far cry from other Mercure hotel experiences. 1. Rooms are very noisy as all of them overlook a busy street and have single glazed windows. So you hear street noise all the time. 2. Rooms look really tired with chipped furniture and wall paint and cheap looking flooring with marks and scratches. The choice of making a bathroom sink area open into the bedroom is quite bizarre. 3. Breakfast selection was very poor and you had the impression that you were bothering kitchen staff when asking for fried eggs or utensils 4. Room service/cleaning was not consistent and below expectations. In four nights they never replaced amenities, coffee capsules for the coffee machine or even water. This is not your typical Mercure hotel. Look for better options if you expect nice clean and quiet room and good service.

A lovely place for short stays, the service and spaces are impeccable.

I stayed here one night for a layover. It’s a fine hotel, nothing amazing or terribly bad. But I have to compliment the entire staff. Everyone was helpful, easy to work with, and had a smile. I’d recommend for the service and safe area
