Santamaria Fundacion

Santamaria Fundacion is one of Colombia's longest-running LGBTIQ+ organisations, based in Cali and serving the Valle del Cauca and the wider southwest of the country for more than two decades. Trans-led, the foundation focuses on the human rights of trans women, sex workers and other marginalised members of the community, running the Observatorio Trans Ciudadano, the Escuela Trans education programme and the Nosotrans initiative. It is a key reference point for advocacy, support and cultural work in Cali's LGBTIQ+ community.
