IL RIPOSO HOSTEL

We stayed one night for 15 soles in a shared room and everything was fine. The owners are very friendly. It's a good place for the price and for a few nights :)

A fantastic hostel! A quiet, centrally located place with a shared kitchen for guests to use. The staff are incredibly friendly and the place is spotless.

Cultured people, very kind and courteous

We had a terrible experience at Il Riposo. When we arrived at the hostel, they told us they'd had a problem with the plumbing in our room and that they had no rooms available. They had sent us a message through Booking.com at 1:00 AM the day before, which of course we hadn't read since we were traveling by night bus. They didn't even bother to call us or send us a WhatsApp message to let us know. When we arrived in Arequipa, the woman who checked us in offered no solution and showed no empathy for our situation. We had to wander the city streets with our backpacks looking for new accommodation. Unfortunately, there was a mining convention going on, and most of the accommodations were full. The experience was terrible, and the owner showed a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. Not recommended at all.

Hot water 24 hours a day. Very comfortable and affordable rooms. And best of all, it's located in the historic city center. Good service.

The hostel is the most affordable in the area. The owner is very friendly. It's a quiet place where you feel right at home. They have amenities like a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, eat healthy, and save money on your trip. Definitely a place to return to.

I stayed one week. The place was clean, big rooms, comfortable beds and above all the people working there were extremely nice!! I would truly recommend IL RIPOSO! If you stayed there, ask Jean Pierre for his delicious " pollo al curry "!
