I was on the work stay play program with Clarky. I had a great time on this program, clarky provided some very useful information and he is a very funny and down to earth fella. I would highly recommend this program with clarky.

I was quite impressed with this place. Rooms with PODs were modern, clean and neat. Price is very reasonable. Showers are modern and spacious. Lucy cafe was especially good. Ate there every day and each time the food was great. Highly recommend if you are passing through and need a place to stay.

Really neat hostel! Stayed in a private room and it was very clean and quiet. The hostel itself is really modern and has its own onsite bar / restaurant, laundry and even barbers!

Place is super well located downtown. It has several amenities a decent kitchen, a lounge, restaurant and other useful services. Bathrooms are spotless and always clean. We found the crew helpful, professional and efficient. Only thing we thought could be improved was the kitchen. On one hand, there’s only one recycling bin compared to waste and it’s always full so people trash what could be saved. Then, there’s a brillant foodshare initiative where people can leave their unused food for others to enjoy but the staff repeatedly throws away most of it - We speak from experience as we had just added a few items for others when staff came and threw it all away even tho it was still good. A bit unfortunate. Other than that, we absolutely recommend it!

Two great things about this hostel. If they have availability, they give you your room before check-in. It's so nice not having to wait hours to rest after a long flight. Second, and just as important, at reception, I was helped by a young man named Alban who spoke my language. He was very polite and helpful. A 10 out of 10 for him! I didn't find a single receptionist in New Zealand or Australia who spoke other languages. Unbelievable, but true. The hostel is new, clean, and well-organized.
