Edmonton City Hall Plaza
Visitors praise Edmonton City Hall Plaza for its beautiful architecture, art installations, and its adaptability for different seasons with fountains in summer and a skating rink in winter. However, some visitors express concerns about the presence of homeless individuals and drug users, which can make the area feel unsafe despite its decent appearance.

Edmonton looks better from a distance than up close, unfortunately. While the skyline surrounded by trees and the river is impressive, the reality on the streets is disheartening. The sheer number of homeless individuals and drug users makes walking around feel unsafe. This square, despite its decent appearance, significant buildings, and crowds of people, can't quite counterbalance the negative impression left by the surrounding streets. It seems like almost anywhere outside of Downtown feels better, and while this square is a small exception, it’s not enough to make a big difference.
