This stay was perfect and the staff were extremely polite and helpful! Our check in was easy and quick, the room was cute and comfortable, and the included breakfast was delicious and served on a tiered platter with many teas and drinks to pick from. It is also located close to the water and walking distance from the main streets of town which was super convenient! Would highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Was pretty disappointed in this tea house. We ran out of tea in both pots and never was offered a refill. We also weren’t ever offered water whereas the other tables all had some. We essentially were placed in a corner and forgotten about.

This review is regarding the afternoon tea service. The server was so unpleasant and irritable it made for a negative experience overall. I have some dietary restriction due to being pregnant, but the server acted as if they've never had a pregnant guest dine there and was completely oblivious to basic food restrictions in pregnancy (ie no raw fish or meats). I had to ask multiple times about the menu items because it was clear the server was not competent about the few menu items they have and gave unclear and vague answers when I asked if each item contained anything raw. For example there was an item that was described as a steak so I asked if the meat is fully cooked on the inside and the server gave a rude and condescending response saying they can't possibly guarantee that the meat would be fully cooked, which doesn't make any sense to me. So I had to substitute that item, but when the food came out and I saw the item from someone else who ordered it, it was clearly thin cut pieces of meat that were fully cooked and I was very disappointed that I obviously could have eaten that with no problems. The server was clearly so irritated every time I asked a question that it actually made our entire group feel uncomfortable.

We went for Afternoon Tea and it was delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was excellent. The food was delicious! The variety was amazing, from sandwiches to a mini yorkshire filled with roast beef and topped with a mild horseradish cream. On the sweet side we had blueberry cheesecake, strawberry tart, 2 different scones and so much more deliciousness.
