We were just there for the day. Had a drink and lunch. Our drink server was Clyde. He was excellent, fun and made our day!

I didn't stay at the hotel but reserved the Day Pass option so I could snorkel in the protected lagoons and, when the wind died down, Avila Reef just outside the lagoons. The whole experience was awesome and the best day I've had in Curacao since I got here 8 days ago. I snorkeled the larger lagoon all morning and there were enough fish hanging around the rocks to keep me entertained. I had access to shaded lounge chairs and showers and they serve drinks if you choose. At lunchtime I worked out in the Gym (a reasonable extra $14 charge) and had lunch at George across the street. When I returned the wind settled down so I was able to go out of the lagoon to the reef where I saw plenty of sea life and beautiful corals. A small Moray Eel was playing in the corals and there were Trumpet Fish, Parrotfish and Puffer Fish! I didn't want to leave so I just floated above the reef watching the action. The tall, stately gentleman who keeps the lobby organized is a joy to speak with and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.l would highly recommend the day pass but be sure to make a reservation because they limit the number of people to keep the experience peaceful and enjoyable.

I honestly loved this place. Location is great, rooms are awesome… MOST of the staff were wonderful. I was moved to this resort for my honeymoon due to the TUI blue soft opening being pushed back. I went out of my way to call the resort ahead of time to make sure everything was okay with our reservation due to it being a transfer. It took over an hour to check in due to us using my Mother in laws credit card. This was a gift for our wedding from her and it was communicated to the hotel well in advance. When we arrived they wouldn’t let me use the card due to her not being present, and the manager named VICTOR called me and my husband sketchy day 1 of our honeymoon which was not a great start. We offered to use our own credit card just so we could get checked in, and we sat waiting for another 30 minutes before anyone even talking to us again. The entire time we waited we were told that they were trying to figure something out but never actually communicated anything other than saying she could do a direct wire or we could pay ourselves. Two nights, they would close the bar 15 minutes early and not let you order drinks even though they are open until 11:30. Overall I would stay here again, but they need a new manager that doesn’t speak to people that way and that actually tries to resolve issues as well as staff that have better attitudes The food was incredible, pool and beach amazing.
