Sutton Place Hotel

A lovely hotel right in the heart of Roseau, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the Aircon is amazing when coming back to the room to cool down. There are plenty of places to eat around, and there are communal areas where you can bring food back to eat and a microwave to heat food up. There is also a waterjug which is convenient for getting cold water before leaving for the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I had a issue where the toilet started leaking slightly when flushing, but it was fixed within 30 minutes of reporting the fault.

A basic hotel, well located in the middle of roseau. Nice service. The room needs some refurbishing. The shower area requires some immediate new caulking and cleaning of the mold. The pillows were smelling and needed some washing off the covers. I didn't have time for breakfast.

Great little hotel in the centre of Roseau walking distance to the ferry.

The location was very convenient, close to everything in the city. The room was cleaned daily, however by the third night, the AIR CONDITIONING was not cooling the room, this made sleeping at night a bit uncomfortable. Warm and welcoming staff very pleasant.

A great place to stay in the heart of Roseau. Close to many bars, restaurants and vibrant nightlife spots. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The only minor drawback is that it can be a bit noisy on some nights due to bustling night life nearby.

I have only good and excellent things to say about Sutton Place Hotel. The room was large, air-conditioned and excellent. The service from all the staff met above and beyond my expectations. I love the locaton in the center of the captial city Roseau giving me easy access to the city and it's excitements, and my business appointments. Poor value for money, €150 a night for a suite that's ugly (like all the other rooms). The room is clearly not maintained; the parquet floor is old, stained, and a bit broken, and there are no decorations or paint. At 7:25 a.m., the chambermaid tried to force her way into my room, even though I hadn't asked for anything. The concierge service is nonexistent. Furthermore, I was supposed to have breakfast included, but when I asked where it was in the morning, I was told it was closed. The only positive point is that the reception and cleaning staff are very pleasant.

Sutton place made my first visit to Dominica a memorable one. I truly enjoy all it had to offer, the food at Sutton place cafe was very delicious and its staff are so friendly and accommodating Thank you Sutton, I will be returning
