Lolita Restaurante Punta Cana

⭐️⭐️⭐️ — 3/5 Beautiful concept, but unfortunately the food did not live up to our expectations, especially considering the prices. We started with the bread and aioli, which was honestly excellent — 10/10. That was the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the gambas al ajillo were very disappointing (3/10). They lacked the garlic, seasoning and depth of flavor expected from such a classic Spanish dish. The ossobuco croquettes were slightly better (4/10), with a nice texture, but the filling itself had very little flavor and didn’t really taste like ossobuco. At RD$895, we expected something much more memorable. The paella was the best of the main dishes, around 7/10, but unfortunately it was burnt in places, which affected the experience. It had more flavor than the other dishes, but still didn’t have the depth and punch we were expecting from a Spanish restaurant specializing in paella. Overall, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and concept, but for almost RD$6,900 for two people, we expected considerably more from the food. The prices are closer to a high-end dining experience, while the execution we experienced didn’t quite reach that level. There were some good elements, but unfortunately we left feeling that the food was missing the flavor, seasoning and character that should make Spanish cuisine memorable. Would we return? Probably not. There are other restaurants in Punta Cana where we’ve had much more exciting food for the price.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional! The beef carpaccio, with its blend of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors, is a true experience. I 100% recommend the oxtail croquettes, and don't even get me started on the patatas bravas! Be sure to try the ribeye paella and the turrón ice cream—my all-time favorite so far 😍. The staff is incredibly attentive, especially the service we received from Chef Faus Arroyo himself, and the food is absolutely delicious. I need Lolita in Santo Domingo!

The chef is the best! Chef Faus is very attentive, the food is on another level. If you come, I recommend the ribeye paella, the carpaccio, and for dessert, the cheesecake. The staff and the atmosphere are amazing! Thank you for everything!

Great atmosphere, great food, everything was delicious, and above all, the service from Chef Faus and the rest of the staff was outstanding. The nougat ice cream was a unique dessert I hadn't tried before, but all the dishes were absolutely delicious 😍😍😍.

This restaurant is one of the best options I've tried in Punta Cana. They have the best paellas in the entire Dominican Republic. I loved the creamy Ribeye Paella, cooked to perfection, and the osso buco croquettes were amazing 🤤. As for the service, this place is the best you'll find in Punta Cana.

Lolita Restaurant was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, the paella was absolutely delicious, and the patatas bravas were the best I've ever had. The paella rice had a burnt taste. The rice was undercooked, and the paella was dry. I do not recommend this dish.

The atmosphere was excellent, and the food was simply spectacular. Everything was so good that I only managed to take a picture of the dessert, which, like everything else, was divine. Highly recommended!
