Tijuana Pride March (Marcha del Orgullo Tijuana)
About This Event
Tijuana's Pride march (Marcha del Orgullo LGBTTTIQ+) is held on the last Saturday of June and has run since the mid-1990s; Punch dates the first official march to 1995, after an unofficial attempt in 1983. The 2026 march was on Saturday 27 June: it set off at 5 pm from Calle Primera and Avenida Mutualismo and ended at Calle Cuarta and Avenida Revolución with a free concert and drag show. Municipal Civil Protection counted more than 12,000 people, and the city council marched officially for the first time. The 2025 march (28 June) marked 30 years and closed with a free concert by Regina Orozco at the Arco Monumental. Shelters and groups such as Albergue Las Memorias, Casa de Luz and La Casita Unión Trans march with their own contingents. The 2027 date has not been announced at the time of writing; if the pattern holds it would be Saturday 26 June 2027.
