About the event

Join us for First Free Sunday and enjoy complimentary admission to the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art!
Explore two exciting exhibitions currently on view:
“Metro Montage XXVI” – MCMA’s annual nationwide juried exhibition featuring more than 100 contemporary artists from across the United States. Selected from over 800 submissions, the exhibition showcases an incredible range of artistic styles, media, techniques, and perspectives.
“America’s 250th Celebration: Selections from the MCMA Permanent Collection” – A special exhibition highlighting works from the Museum’s Permanent Collection that reflect the stories, people, and artistic traditions that have shaped America.
Visitors of all ages are also invited to participate in a free take-and-make art activity inspired by the artwork on view. When possible, projects are designed to incorporate techniques used by exhibiting artists, offering a hands-on way to connect with the exhibitions.
First Free Sunday is one of the many ways MCMA works to build community through art and make the arts accessible to everyone.
