Second Nature Many among our species Homo sapien obsess over biological sex and sexuality, although their understanding rarely rises above what they learned from Bill Nye back in middle school. Turns out, the natural world is teeming with diversity, from clownfishes changing sex to the matriarchal and frequently gay-sex-having society of bonobos. Through the explorations of trans evolutionary biologist Dr. Joan Roughgarden and with narration from Elliot Page, this documentary digs into the over 1,500 animal species whose behavior debunks society-wide myths of gender and sexuality.
