Capitol City Pride (Bismarck Pride)
About This Event
Capitol City Pride is Bismarck's Pride, organised by the volunteer group Dakota OutRight and held in mid-June, with the main festival on the lawn of the North Dakota State Capitol. In 2026 it ran from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June: a mixer at The Hub (321 South 1st Street) from 6 to 9 PM with an after-party at Stonehome Brewing, the free festival on Saturday 13 June from 10 AM to 4 PM with 51 vendors, a DJ and performers, and a Community Sunday with an interfaith service and potluck. The 2024 festival was on Saturday 15 June at the same site.
It's a small, family-friendly day rather than a parade. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced at the time of writing; going by recent years, expect a weekend in mid-June, and check dakotaoutright.org in the spring.
