Park Circle Pride

Park Circle Pride is a week of pride events in the Park Circle neighbourhood of North Charleston, separate from Charleston Pride. Instead of a single parade, events take place in local bars, restaurants and breweries. Commonhouse Aleworks owner Pearce Fleming proposed it in early 2020, COVID delayed it, and it was first held in 2021. Simon Cantlon of Vive Le Rock Productions produces it with the Park Circle Business Collective.

The sixth edition ran from 2 to 7 June 2026 with more than 35 events. They included a free flag raising at Commonhouse Aleworks, drag brunches, karaoke, comedy, poetry, the Charleston Queer Adult Prom, a block party and a market. Most events were free. Participating businesses donate a share of sales to the Alliance for Full Acceptance and We Are Family.

The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
