Thought the valet to be a little expensive for the stay and when rooms where to be ready to check in at 4pm they were not ready and had to wait. The shower was extremely small to me and im not that big.

Fantastic location, easy walking to everything you want to do. Rooms are very cool, and furnished appropriately. Creaky wood floors, period correct style.

I’ve stayed here a few times when visiting Charleston, I’m not sure why it’s considered a 3 Star Hotel, it certainly seems more elegant to me. It’s a perfect location, clean, wonderful staff and even had an older looking decor to the rooms.

Great hotel with plenty of space. Everything was clean, and the location was very convenient with lots of nearby shops and restaurants. My only complaints were the laundry facilities and the gym. The hotel only has one washer and one dryer for the entire property, which wasn’t enough. The gym was also pretty disappointing I was expecting more equipment and a better overall setup. Overall, I had a good stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Historical building in the French quarter of Charleston. It is a block and a half from the city market. Easy walk to many restaurants. My wife and I typically valet the car and spend our days walking through the city market or along the park at the harbor where the pineapple fountain is located. It is close to rainbow row also.
