About this place The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor is the city's grand resort, opened in 1918 at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain, about 6 miles southwest of downtown. It has 784 rooms including 115 suites, and has held the Forbes Five-Star rating since 1960, the longest run of any US hotel.
It's a mainstream luxury resort that we list as gay-friendly, not a gay hotel. Expect golf, a large spa and a lake; downtown and the bars are a 15-minute drive.
