The room was nice, they made sure to have a pack and play sent up to my room for the baby. Desk staff was top notch and were able to hold a DoorDash’d can of formula at the desk for me until I got back later in the day. My only complaints were that the bathroom didn’t have a vent fan and the AC was working hard but never got the room to the set temperature. Housekeeping was great, they even left a note under the door when they didn’t make it to my room for fresh towels, no big deal! Parking garage gets a 0/10 and needs a big sign that there is a parking lot for bigger vehicles accessible around the corner on the second floor. Otherwise if you want to park in the garage, plan for a 17-point turn and a really tight squeeze.
Very close to USC, a few minutes walk.
Comfy beds and reasonably priced. Parking was not ideal due to the low ceiling height and tight space
As a lifetime Gold Member to say my experience at your Courtyard property was less than positive would be an understatement. I arrived at approximately 3:00 a.m. and had to park in an uncovered, open parking area next to the hotel. There was no clear signage directing guests from the parking area to the hotel entrance, which made the arrival process confusing and uncomfortable at that hour. Upon checking in, I was then told I had to go back outside alone and place a paper parking permit on my dashboard to show that I was staying at the Courtyard. I explained that I was a woman traveling alone and asked whether I could simply provide a description of my Jeep or my license plate information. I was told that was not an option. Requiring a guest—particularly a woman traveling alone—to return to an open parking lot at 3:00 a.m. for a paper permit demonstrates a serious lack of concern for guest safety and customer service. A safer and more accommodating process should have been available. This experience was unacceptable and far below the level of service and guest care I would expect from Marriott. Please do better.
