Push'n Pansies
It’s just a fact of life.
One day, we, or a loved one, will have to make a difficult choice. A life and death decision will arrive at our door, and we’ll be surprised. We’ll be surprised because it will be dressed in a white coat, and it will have some papers and a pen in hand. And it will ask us to choose … should we keep treating our life-threatening illness to gain precious days, weeks, and possibly months? Or are the “costs” to our bodies, minds and spirits too steep? Are we willing to keep paying the price that life is asking us to pay … to stay?
In this upcoming presentation and conversation with Karen Keeran, grief and end of life coach, doula and educator with Golden Heart Transition, Karen will walk us through the key elements we need to consider before making this heart-wrenching decision. And together, we’ll explore several other important questions, such as:
How do I decide what matters most to me?
What questions should I ask my medical team to discern between the quantity and quality of life I will have under different treatment options?
How can palliative care & ultimately hospice care support me on this journey
We’ll explore these and many other questions in this interactive and engaging hour together! None of us have to make these tough decisions in a vacuum if we know what to ask and who we can reach out to for support.
So, please don’t miss this opportunity to prepare and process through some of the most important questions we’ll ever face in our lifetimes.
