Ember Hostel

​I had a mixed experience staying here for two nights in two different rooms. ​The first night on the first floor was absolutely fantastic—the room was comfortable and everything was perfect. However, my second night in Room 8 was a letdown. The room only had a portable air conditioner, and the exhaust hose at the back kept coming loose. Because of this, it didn’t cool the room well at all, making the night hot. ​The property has great potential, but Room 8 definitely needs a more reliable cooling solution.

This place is on point. Very reasonably priced, friendly staff and clean facility. I felt safe the whole time, great distance from everything in the city and a fun place to make memories and meet cool people.

This hostel is amazing. Great location to get everywhere on public transportation. Super clean with a comfortable bed and everyone that worked there was amazing. Highly recommend

No air conditioning.

Had a great time. If you need a place in Denver that: *Is affordable *Is very inclusive *Has cool mellow staff that listen or talk to you about your trip or plans. THIS PLACE IS GREAT I was on a trip I forgot I planned, had no "roaming around" money to take ride share other than to go home, and the event I was in town for was on the last night of my stay. So I came in ready to be tilted, only to be routinely put at ease. The fire pit is a nice spot to just relax and decompress. I literally forgot to connect to the WiFi for the first 2days because of how cool the place and the area was. Trader Joes is a 5mins downhill walk from this place too so the compound interest on what you save in money just gets better. This place disarmed me in ways I didn't expect. Thank you 🥰

This is a great spot and an amazing house. They really made this awesome but some of the staff not so great but why I left off a star

Emily was super helpful!!! They brought my stuff to my room when I left it in the dryer and was always available if we needed help. The place was lowkey fancy and the beds quite private. Shower and bathrooms always very clean when I used them. COMFY BEDS!! And a fire pit!! would definitely recommend staying here if you're in denver for an extended period.

Overall it was clean, well kept, and felt safe. The lobby is spacious with large couches and armchairs to lounge in. They have a small kitchenette where you can do some light cooking. The showers were surprisingly clean and wasn’t busy when I went. The bunk bed was comfortable and enough space underneath to keep your luggage, just bring your own lock. However one of my bunk mates was coughing all night long and on making calls within their bunk which made sleeping difficult. Overall it is a decent place for younger folks and solo travelers.

Hostel fired the entire staff 6 months ago and is under new management. Apparently the customer service also left with the old employees Edit: updating to 3 stars since the second guy I talked to was alright

Very nice Hostel in a great part of Denver. All the furniture and details are well done. Big hit tub and fire pit outside. A great option if you like social travel. Great travelers to meet and adventure with. Highly recommend. Cheers, BSB

Neon was the best

I had a wonderful stay at Ember Hostel during a weekend trip to Denver. All of the staff, and Tashfia in particular were so welcoming, helpful and fun! The rooms and ammenities were all clean and comfortable. The environment created by the staff was the highlight of the trip. Tashfia provided great recommendations for a solo exploration of Denver too, and I had an amazing time!
