What reviewers say

Some visitors found the rooms clean and the staff friendly and helpful, with a good continental breakfast. However, multiple guests complained about the hotel's atmosphere, describing hallways as "disgusting" or like a "horror movie," and some rooms as tiny or uncomfortable. There were also issues with noise from the pool and the unavailability of certain amenities like airport shuttles after a certain hour.

Hotel Staff was Cold and Rude. Room was wet and somehow hot and cold. Super uncomfy beds. It is like they put all the left over staff and rooms into this weird building. How do you have such a fancy enterance and then enter a hallway that feels like from a horror movie. DO NOT RECCOMEND AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Travelers beware: This Holiday Inn Fargo 13th does not offer airport pickup after 10pm. My rental car reservation was overbooked and canceled on arrival. When I contacted them for a shuttle, the front desk flat-out said they don’t provide transportation from the airport at that hour. Uber ran nearly $40, taxis similar or higher. I’m still stuck at the airport trying to find another IHG property that will offer transportation—not looking likely. They were decent enough to offer a refund without penalties, but that doesn’t fix being stranded. For a hotel that markets itself as traveler-friendly, this is unacceptable. Would not recommend.

We came here mainly because of the pirate-themed pool for our 5 and 8 years old kids. The room we were given left a lot to be desired. Others’ reviews about the rooms being tiny are true. The atmosphere here is different from other holiday inn hotels we stayed in a negative way. We were given a room on the 6th floor on the back side of the building and we had a lot of luggages so we need to use the hotel’s luggage cart. The hotel building is oddly structured and it is very long (estimate longer than 200 yards). To access the luggage cart at the front door, it was a very long walking and I needed to use two different elevators to get the damn cart to our room. I wish the hotel could simply keep a few luggage carts at the back side of the building. The photos show just how tiny the room is. To be fair, our kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub although it was crowded with people.

Figure out where your elevators are and tell the guests how to find them ridiculous you can get to the elevator from the first floor.
