The hotel is under renovation, but our stay was still great. Also a little continental breakfast included

I was actually disappointed in the room we rented. Upon entry to the room I noticed that the bed was not made, as in no sheets or blanket. So I went to the front desk and told them I needed the bed linens as the bed was not made. I will give them some leeway as they are remodeling but there was paint streaks in the jetted tub, as well as no towels or bath mat for that tub. Under the cushions was quite measy, no bathroom vent cover and paint splatters all over. For doing a remod they should be on top of keeping the mess somewhat contained but that was not the case. I realize it is under new management from what it was but the new management was not on the friendly side and seemed over worked and overwhelmed. I do not think I will stay here again as I shouldn't have to clean the room before I am able to use it and this was the case here, and I didn't receive an apology or a discount (or pay for having to make the bed and clean the room) or even a thank you. Customers are what make your business survive and in every circumstance should be appreciated, because word of mouth is the best (and worse in some cases) advertising.
