Check in was easy didn’t have a problem. We got to our room and the light to the bathroom would not turn on. Okay not a big deal. The room was comfortable. When we woke up to go down for breakfast. The lady working over at the bar so we can order was rude when I showed her I had breakfast included in my booking. So I went to the front desk the front desk apologized for the server’s behavior and we got our voucher. We go back to the rude lady to order and me and my wife both got tacos and orange juice. We got our food and only one glass of orange juice. So I asked the lady where is the other juice. She said it was only one and I looked at her and the voucher was for 2 people. So we finally got our juice when are good come out. We will possibly stay again however staff needs learn some manners.
Stayed at Aloft while visiting Fort Worth for a concert, location is great if you’re planning to stay in the heart of downtown. There’s a charming little Korean restaurant directly across the street (though I didn’t get a chance to actually eat there). View from our room was beautiful and the room was tidy, clean, and looked exactly as the photos on the website. Service for the most part was good though our room was not ready when we arrived. We waited about 1 hour possible 1hr30min before I was notified that our room was ready. Valet was very helpful and you are provided with a link once checked in to request your car, I think I waited about 10-15 min max while I stayed here. I will say their elevators are a bit strange they don’t have buttons inside to request the floors it’s all outside
We were checked in later than our 4:00 reserved time. We also tried to check in early online and it said 12:15…still had to wait until 4:10. The room was big and nice, but no ice machines on all floors. I also paid extra for breakfast and there was never any breakfast. Just a generally strange hotel. Would not book again.
We stayed for 2 nights and overall the hotel was nice there’s just a few things that were a little bothersome. Pros: staff were SO friendly and kind, especially to our toddler. The room was huge and the AC was nice and chilly. Lounge area was neat. Location was convenient Cons: the rooms are paper thin. We could hear families on both sides of us extremely loudly. Doors and opening closing sounding like slams. Just prettt disruptive for sleep. The pool is not “heated” like advertised. Sure there’s some slightly warm water being pumped in, but my toddlers lips turned blue and he was chattering/shaking from being cold- not what we expected when seeing “heated pool”. The shuffle board in the lounge area is seriously lacking sand so near impossible to play.
Stayed for Mother’s Day in downtown and it was a great location. Had drinks at the bar and Jessica was our bartender. She was so fast the drinks were good! We ordered the wings they were amazing! Definitely will be back and stopping at the bar again.
Fantastic location. Its right by Sundance Square and a quick car ride from Stockyards and Dickies Arena. The rooms are spacious, staff friendly, and the FOOD is amazing. So many restaurants right outside of the hotel. Will definitely return.
