The lady at the service desk that checked us in on May 27th was very nice. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The pool was open and clean along with the hot tub. The following morning went for breakfast, the setup was nice and clean. Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room we stayed at had a beautiful view towards the wooded mountains. The frogs do get pretty noisy at night outside. Inside of the room we had a fridge, microwave, coffee/tea, hair dryer, basic toiletries and their shampoo and conditioner are in the big squeezable bottles that are mounted to the inside of the shower so it’s within your reach and you can use as much as you want.

Loved WV!! It was a great trip, I recommend it totally. The only reason I didn't favor the rooms due to covers being too light for my liking!

We just stayed there over the weekend. The room was clean but the place/room needs some work and upgrades. Upon entering the room and getting settled in we found there was no remote for the tv. Tried calling the front desk from the room and the phone doesnt work. Walked down and explained to them about the remote and they were nice and tried to be helpful. Took over 30 minutes and a trip to the room by an employee and even though it wasn't working correctly, we could use it enough to watch some tv. The toilet needs to be changed and the pads under the seat that hold it up off of the bowl were missing. A newer raised chair height and elongated bowl toilet would be nice. We are not disabled but have some age and those kind of toilets make it easier for people with leg/hip issues. The stopper for the bathroom sink was completely gone and a partial was almost lost down the drain. The furniture needs replaced due to tears and holes. Not a bad place, just needs some updating and the staff was fairly pleasant

The sewage smell was so bad it made me sick We rented two rooms was charged $200 fee for each room and was told we smoked in both rooms is why and I know 2 kids was in one room and don’t smoke they was literally in the room to sleep and the smell was so bad we left When you walk in it smells like marijuana throughout the hotel even on the 3rd floor The laundry room couldn’t be used Ice machine didn’t work We didn’t have a mini fridge or microwave as advertised The 2nd room had a mini fridge This is by far one of the crappiest hotels around Huntington We have stayed in many hotels waiting for our home to be ready to move into. We had to leave our last home over black mold and thought we would be comfortable but nope the smell was horrible

After these fine folks gave away, kept, or sold our new clothes which the we had left in the room (unknowingly of course) and even called an hour after to report and make sure they were still in the room.... Well they had a couple ... 3 out of 9 of the left items were all that was left, only 3 days after ... Well that's my last dollar spent with Quality Inn of Huntington that much I can assure you of, 4 stars down to 1 for this one!

I saw some of the other reviews and was a little worried, but everything was fine. The staff was nice, courteous, and attentive. The room wasn't the best but the beds were clean. The bathroom was clean but it's probably time to go for a coat of paint rather than using staples to hold up the wallpaper.
